San Diego · Advanced Implant & Periodontal Surgery
A specialist worth the drive from San Diego
San Diego is about 120 miles south of our Beverly Hills office — a straightforward trip up the I-5 and I-15. It’s a distance patients are happy to travel when a case is genuinely complex: full-arch implant reconstruction, severe bone loss, failing or previously unsuccessful implants, and the situations a general dentist would rather hand to a specialist. Care is led by Dr. Sam Gilani, a UCLA-trained periodontist and oral plastic reconstructive surgeon.
Because the drive matters, we plan around it. Where possible we consolidate diagnostics and treatment into fewer, longer visits, give you a clear roadmap up front, and coordinate with your San Diego dentist so follow-up and routine care stay near home.
When the trip is worth it
The kinds of cases San Diego patients most often make the drive for:
Full-arch implants
All-on-4 / All-on-X fixed implant reconstruction for patients replacing a full arch of teeth.
Learn more →Sinus elevation
Sinus lifts that create the upper-jaw bone height needed to place implants where others said it couldn't be done.
Learn more →Complex lower-jaw cases
Advanced techniques for severe lower-jaw bone loss — discussed openly, including the real risks.
Learn more →Failed-implant rescue
Diagnosis and revision when an implant has failed or never integrated — a frequent second-opinion reason.
Learn more →Patients from across San Diego County
We welcome patients and referrals from San Diego, La Jolla, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, and throughout the county.
